Welcome to SOCCERMATRIX
Your home away from home
We provide football camps for boys and girls from the age of 5 to 13 in a safe and fun environment, where everyone, no matter their ability, is welcome. After all football is the conversation of the world!
Our aim, is to use our extensive coaching experience to provide structured soccer training, motivating and encouraging our children to do their best. Each child is treated as an individual and we adapt our coaching style to ensure that we get the best out of them, and they get the best out of their time with us.
We also recognise that not everyone starts at the same place and we therefore aim to allocate groups based on ability, but also provide the opportunity for everyone to play together - learning from each other is a key part of how we can all develop!
Above all, we want the children to have fun, given our camps run in their holidays!
The word soccer comes from the slang abbreviation of the word ‘association’ which British players of the day adapted as ‘assoc’, ‘as soccer’ and eventually ‘soccer.’
Playing soccer has amazing health benefits. It maintains fitness, strength and endurance, aswell as teaching our children the importance of teamwork, concentration and perseverance. It also teaches how to think and make decisions on the spot. All too often our children are missing out on these skills living in the digital world!
Given this, our purpose is to provide the best coaching that we are able to offer. We are also passionate about giving back to the community, we aim to do this by donating footballs to deprived areas, both within and outside the UK so that everyone has the ability to participate in this beautiful game!
Facilities
Our camp will be held on the fantastic 3G Astro turf which is one of the best in the area. The 3G surface will allow our children to develop their skills even better, plus ensure they play on a first class surface.
The Astro pitch is completely fenced in so it will give parents complete reassurance that their children will be safe through out the duration of the camp.
For our summer camp, we will be using the extensive playing fields that the facility offers. Given the drier weather, this will enable our children to play on a different surface thereby developing additional soccer skills.
There is ample parking available at the school and on arrival you will be met by our friendly team. We look forward to welcoming you.
